It has been privilege to participate in discussions on Advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in the Indo-Pacific.
On the 22nd anniversary of the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, Nichole Georgeou, Karen Soldatić, and Western Sydney University, hosted discussions as we dissected and strived for direction for the WPS agenda.
ESG Future-Proofing: Paddling Towards the New BAU
As you know, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations have gained significant traction in recent years. The emergence of new legislation, the growing risk of losing customers, and the need to adapt to a new business as usual (BAU) have made it imperative for businesses to start paddling for the ‘ESG wave’. ESG is incredibly important to future-proofing and how companies can prepare themselves for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, must be viewed with an opportunistic lens.
Change Happens for a Reason: The Driving Forces Behind ESG Adoption
One of my goals this year was to get back into reading the extensive amount of books on my bookshelves. I’m a sucker for a recommendation (if you have any, get in touch!). I was actually reading a novel recently, and I took note of this quote: “If nothing is in need of change then why bother?”.
